The reporter learned from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers that this year, China's commercial vehicle sector has maintained rapid growth, achieving double-digit increases compared to the same period last year.
Data show that in November, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 388,000 and 366,000 units respectively, marking year-on-year growth rates of 64.9% and 44.6% respectively. Among the major types of commercial vehicles, both passenger cars and trucks experienced double-digit growth compared to the same period last year. In the data from January to November, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were completed at 3.671 million units and 3.666 million units respectively, which also achieved double-digit growth year-on-year, with increases of 25.4% and 21.8% respectively.
Officials from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that this year, China's commercial vehicles have maintained rapid growth, mainly due to the macroeconomic recovery to support the recovery of the commercial vehicle market demand, increased demand for logistics, infrastructure investment and other factors to drive the continued growth of commercial vehicle sales. At the same time, this year, China's commercial vehicle exports have also maintained rapid growth, from January to November, commercial vehicle exports were 692,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%.
